Covid-19 has revealed the existence of structural violence in different contexts. With the extreme circumstances caused by the Pandemic it has become clear that many social structures prevent certain groups of people from meeting their basic needs. It is obvious the greater devastation it has had in the lives of people of color, and the reasons for that, e.g., the kinds of jobs the poor hold, the lack of medical care, the poorer health to begin with, the lack of other capacities (e.g., the need to use public transportation), etc.—. Education for Global Peace (EGP) decided to convene a conversation to analyse a number of forms of structural violence which are now evident, and to discuss the role of peace builders and peace educators in this scenario.
